Top In the West
NRC Picker Path to Excellence Award
NRC Picker, a division of National Research Corporation (NRCI), has awarded Adventist Health St. Helena Hospital its Path to Excellence award for "Top performing hospital with 100 to 300 beds." Patients rated Adventist Health St. Helena higher than any other of its size in the western United States.
For more than 130 years, Adventist Health St. Helena has continuously earned and maintained a reputation for excellence in advancing health in Northern California with a mission to share God's love by providing physical, mental and spiritual healing. Today, Adventist Health St. Helena remains focused on serving that same caring mission with added intention of continuously improving quality, efficiency and reach.

Pursuing a vision to become the destination of choice for all who seek to live younger longer™, Adventist Health St. Helena partners with the local community to improve its overall "health experience" and aspires to extend that experience throughout the region.
Our Community
The St. Helena community works in tandem with the hospital to fund the latest equipment and the newest technology to attract the best physicians. Dedicated Foundation Board members are hospital advocates, listening to the community about its concerns and needs for health care. They are steadfast in their mission to raise the funds necessary to provide the highest quality of care.
Our Employees
Some research has suggested that the word "Saint" in the name of a hospital, produces a halo effect that could give a slight boost to scores on patient satisfaction surveys. At Adventist Health St. Helena we believe that the biggest lift comes not from the "Saint" in our name, but from the whole team of employees, physicians, and volunteers that act as "Saints" when delivering their services to our community.
Every employee throughout the hospital made a contribution to the Path of Excellence Award. Through a unique management philosophy, staff is empowered to implement tactics and strategies that improve quality and efficiency without the constraints of a hierarchical system. Dedicated and skilled physicians work together with hospital staff to provide safe, proven and innovative medicine; clean, calm and engaging facilities; and a sensitive, proactive and extraordinary experience.
